We've already seen quite a few... interesting creations using Tears of the Kingdom's Ultrahand ability, but this latest creation is a weapon to surpass them all.

Twitter user @uran120 recently posted a video showcasing what is presumably their work recreating Metal Gear Rex made from various in-game items in Tears of the Kingdom. You can see Rex's radar is actually a fan, and the terrifying nuke-shooting railgun is actually a more mundane blaster, thankfully. Hyrule has suffered enough without nukes, thank you very much.

While the model is quite interesting, it does appear to have some limitations. A lot of the moving parts in the legs whir and make noise, but they don't seem to actually move the Metal Gear knockoff at all. Ditto the torso, which seems locked in place. Basically, this Metal Gear is more of a statue than a working engine of destruction. But even still, it's an impressive display of the creativity possible in Tears of the Kingdom. Maybe next we'll see Metal Gear Ray, and after that, Metal Gear Zeke.

While we're on the top of Metal Gear, Konami recently confirmed Metal Gear Solid 3 is being remade for PC and modern consoles. During yesterday's PlayStation Showcase, Konami presented a trailer that showed a snake snapping at a parrot before a crocodile began eating the snake, and finally Naked Snake sneaking around in some mangroves. This confirmed nearly a year of rumors that Konami is working on a Metal Gear Solid 3 remake, which will be called Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater.

That's not all Konami is working on. The end of the trailer also revealed the Classics Collection for Metal Gear Solid, which re-releases the first three titles in HD for the first time in quite a while. You can't get many of these Metal Gear titles after they'd fallen off several storefronts, but that's soon to change. The first three Metal Gears will return this fall.

Metal Gear Solid Delta still doesn't have a release date, which means it's unlikely to unseat Tears of the Kingdom as the current front runner for the best game of 2023. Players have already put dozens of hours into the game, with one dedicated Twitch streamer discovering it takes 139 hours to 100 percent the game. They spent six days playing around the clock, but the fruits of their effort have given us a complete list of everything needed to completely experience Tears of the Kingdom.
