They will attack Link on sight if he enters their detection radius, but they possess valuables within their bodies, including strong Fuse objects. To get at those, you'll need to know how to defeat them, which will require power, mobility, and finesse.

How To Beat Flux Constructs

The Zonai built several large destructive Flux Constructs, which are quite dangerous to approach and even more so to fight. They're a combination of Zonai blocks held together by energy tendrils.

All the blocks are indestructible except one. The core of the Flux Construct is the block that has a shinier material with a noticeable glow. To beat this enemy, you need to destroy the core.

Both the core and the regular blocks are compatible with Link's Zonai arm, so they can be influenced by the Move ability.

When you're in range, you can grab the core from the Flux Construct and rip it from its form. This will cause it to fall apart and allow you to hit the core with whatever weapons you have.

Always have a high-damage weapon, Fuse one of your regular weapons with a rock, or use Bomb Flowers to deal heavy damage to the core. Move quickly, as the Flux Construct will reassemble itself after a few seconds.

What makes Flux Constructs difficult to deal with is that they can rearrange their blocks into one of several forms. Based on the one they choose, you should respond accordingly, prepare for the related attacks, and spot the core as soon as possible.

How To Beat Flux Construct Golem Form

You could say that this is the Flux Construct's base form. This gives it two arms, two legs, a chest, and a head.

It stands roughly the same size as a Hinok.

It's slowest in this form but has tremendous reach due to its arms, AoE impact strikes, and its ability to charge toward Link.

You should keep your distance from it until you're confident that you can rush in and Move the core, which can literally be in any part of its body.

It's best to bait it to slam down one of its arms and then try to get into Move range as it recovers. Staying behind it is also a good way to stay safe and avoid attacks.

How To Beat Flux Construct Cube Form

This is the Flux Construct's most mobile and defensive form. As a giant cube, it will pursue Link by rolling like a giant die.

It's easy to outrun, but the problem is grabbing the core. If it's on one of the surfaces, just position yourself so that it will face you, and you can Move it.

Should the core be positioned beneath the surface, you'll need to stay relatively close so that it's always in range. Pick away at the regular blocks with Move until you can get a clear line to the core to pull it out and collapse the cube.

How To Beat Flux Construct Hover Form

This form is dangerous as it combines both offensive and defensive elements. The blocks arrange themselves as a square single-block high platform, with a small elevated section at its center to act as its head.

It will maintain a height that is slightly higher than the Golem Form's max height, and it will constantly float toward Link's position.

Before it attacks, it will pause, extend a row of blocks, separate them from each other, and then fire them one at a time at Link. It can also fire the blocks at the same time.

The blocks can fly surprisingly fast, so conserve your Stamina to quickly dash out of the way. The core is likely to be located in the main part of the form, and you can pull it out with Move by getting under it.

If the core is part of the elevated section, you'll need to Move the center blocks from the bottom until you can reach it.
