Rancor

The big beastly Rancor in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Planet

Koboh

Location

Sodden Grotto (near Rambler's Reach)

Reward

Shatter Perk

This is, perhaps the first of the legendary enemies that you'll encounter if you take the first side quest given to you upon entering Rambler's Reach.

We already have a guide available that will walk through how to locate and defeat the Rancor.

Beetu Deetu

Cal in the Southern Reach near Rambler's Reach in Jedi Survivor

Planet

Koboh

Location

Southern Reach

Later in the game, return to the Southern Reach Meditation Point. Then walk forward a few steps like you're heading into the valley once again overlooking Rambler's Reach. A dropship will discharge two B2 Battle Droids that act as a legendary fight.

Map of the Southern Reach in Jedi Survivor

They basically attack the same way other B2 droids in the game attack, they simply can sustain more damage than their traditional counterparts.

Deflect blaster shots and use the force to push back any rockets. Having two of these on your tail at the same time is really what makes this a challenge, so do your best not to get surrounded. Keep them both in front of you.

Gorocco Matriarch

Cal in the Southern Reach in Jedi Survivor

Planet

Koboh

Location

Derelict Dam

Reward

Stim container

You can only access this area once you've completed the main storyline mission aboard the Lucrehulk. That is because you'll gain the Force Lift and Force Slam abilities which are necessary to finding the Gorocco Matriarch.

Head to the Derelict Dam Meditation point. Head down the path as if you're travelling to Rambler's Reach, but take a right when you see a silo-style elevator and a workbench.

Map of the Derelict Dam in Jedi Survivor

Head up the elevator. On the new plateau, you'll see a big yellow door that you can Force Lift. Head on through to find the Gorocco Matriarch. Once again, the Gorocco Matriarch fights the same as her ordinary counterparts, she just has a beefy life bar. Dodge her slam attacks and parry the rest. Once complete, you can obtain a new stim to add to your inventory.

E3-VE3

Cal in the Untamed Downs in Jedi Survivor

Planet

Koboh

Location

Untamed Downs

Reward

Force Essence (XP point)

In the Untamed Downs region of Kobo, you can find a derelict base entrance to the left of the path that leads to the Jawa settlement. Just inside the entrance are a number of roller droids so be prepared to detonate them before they reach you. In order to access the base you will need Merrin's Magicked Charm to dash through the green force field.

Map of Untamed Downs in Jedi Survivor

After killing the critters in the hallway, the door at the end leads to several B1 Droids and E3-VE3, a tougher variant of the traditional Droideka enemy.

Make quick work of the B1 droids so that you don't have to worry about wayward blaster fire. Then attack the E3, but be wary of his roll attack that is unblockable.

Spawn Of Oggdo

Cal holds his double-blade lightsaber in a defenstive stance as the Spawn of Oggdo lunges forward with its mouth open

Planet

Koboh

Location

Fort Kah'lin

Rewards

Poncho & Force Tear

Do you remember Oggdo? The three-eyed death frog that was a legendary beast in Fallen Order has returned - sort of. You can fight his offspring and relive the same painstaking fight Cal once endured all those years ago.

Map of Fort Kah'lin in Jedi Survivor

You must travel to the Fort Kah'lin Meditation Point. From here, you can follow our separate guide on how to find the creature in the Fort and defeat him.

The Massiff

Cal in the Lucrehulk in Jedi Survivor

Planet

Koboh

Location

Lucrehulk Core

Reward

Force Essence (XP point)

During your trek through the Lucrehulk to save Zee during a mainline story mission, you can backtrack to fight the Massiff after learning Force Lift. Return to the Lucrehulk Core Meditation Point and head left through the shortcut to the Yurt Barracks. Then travel back to the original entrance to the Yurt Barracks where you saw a locked door on the second floor across from a broken walkway.

Map of the Yurt Barracks in Jedi Survivor

Use the Force Lift here and enter to find the Massiff. This is a buffed Magnaguard similar to the one you fought on the Shattered Moon.

With that experience in mind, you should know that the Massiff's attacks are quick and unforgiving. Focus on defense. Parry everything you can before moving in for the kill. And most importantly, be patient as you recycle this strategy.

Mire Terror

The Mire Terror in Jedi Survivor

Planet

Koboh

Location

Viscid Bog

Reward

Stim Container

While this beast-mode Mogu is located in the Viscid Bog, it's actually recommended that you take the Gorge Crash Site Meditation point in order to locate him. Once there, immediately turn around, Force Lift the door, and descend the elevator. You'll see pillars in the bog you can lift to jump across and find the Mire Terror alongside another Mogu.

Map of the Viscid Bog in Jedi Survivor-1

The best strategy is to turn the lesser Mogu against the Mire Terror with the force if possible. This shifts the tables from one versus two, to two versus one in your favor. The Mire Terror heavily spams unblockable attacks so be sure to have your dodge button ready. Parry whatever you can to stun it and move in for the kill.

Vile Bilemaw

Cal in the Fogged Expanse in Jedi Survivor

Planet

Koboh

Location

Fogged Expanse

Reward

Fortitude Perk

This creature can be reached as you begin ascending the mountain. In the fogged expanse, you'll encounter a door you have to use the force to open with a Mogu inside. Facing the door, head left instead where you'll reach a plateau containing multiple roller droids.

Map of the Fogged Expanase

Dispatch them, and head left again to the cliff edge. If you look down, you'll see walkway coverings collapse on the side of the mountain and tunnel you can slide down. Jump down to find the Vile Bilemaw. Fight this Bilemaw like you would any other.

The best strategy in fighting Bilemaws is to move to their side where they'll prepare to roll over you. There's a brief window where the Bilemaw will be highlighted blue before it enacts its roll attack. Quickly Force Push it to throw it off balance and knock it over so that you can move in for a combo attack.

Urgost, Fist of Rayvis

Cal on the Observatory in Jedi Survivor

Planet

Koboh

Location

Mountain Observatory

This is one legendary fight that is unavoidable when playing through the main campaign. You'll fight him in the Mountain Observatory as part of a mainline story mission. Urgost is a variation of the traditional Bedlam Smasher. Similar rules apply here to many of the other legendary beasts. His attack patterns are mostly the same, but he simply can take more punishment.

Map of the Observatory Understructure in Jedi Survivor

During the fight, it's best to jump backward instead of dodge as dodging still tends to be ineffective in fleeing his ground-smashing attacks. The dodge maneuver simply doesn't take you far enough most of the time.Jumping backward most assuredly protects you when you're off the ground.

Because he is a heavy hitter, you'll do more dodging than parrying. Just wait for the right moment to go on the offensive.

Frenzied Jotaz

Cal in the Undercity Meets Region of Jedi Survivor

Planet

Coruscant

Location

Undercity Meats

Reward

Force Essence (XP point)

Those who played Fallen Order will remember this guy. You can find him on Coruscant once you've obtained the electro dart in the main game. Fast travel to the Undercity Meats Meditation Point.

From here, press forward until you encounter a door with an electric battery. Shoot the battery with the dart to find the Frenzied Jotaz waiting for you.

Map of the Undercity Meats in Jedi Survivor

The Jotaz isn't as formidable as the Rancor. Still, it has some wide-sweeping unblockable attacks that you should be on the lookout for. Keep moving to the creature's side and cutting him up with your saber and jump dodge out of the way to avoid the big attacks.

D-L1T

Cal near Hangar 2046-C in Jedi Survivor

Planet

Coruscant

Location

Hangar 2046-C

Reward

Slice DT Sentry (BD-1)

Fast travel to the Hangar 2046-C Meditation Point. Ride the elevator up and shoot the electric battery with an electro dart that you find when your each the top. D-L1T is a souped-up version of the traditional DT Sentry. He has powerful attacks such as an unblockable spinning attack.

Map of Hanger 2046-C in Jedi Survivor

Also, be aware that if you chop off the droid's arms, he'll spam stomping attacks that are rather irritating, as they inflict damage in a perimeter around him. Jump to avoid those, and keep pressing the attack until he's defeated.

Golden Skriton

Cal in the Desert Ridge in Jedi Survivor

Planet

Jedha

Location

Desert Ridge

Reward

Unflinching Perk

Merrin typically accompanies you out in the field when on Jedha. However, when you travel to this spot which is located along the Desert Ridge just to the right of the Anchorite Base, she'll tell you that you have to go into the Skriton's domain alone. Why? That's anybody's guess. But alas, you will have to fight the Golden Skriton without her help.

Map of Desert Ridge in Jedi Survivor

Just remember to dodge backward to flee its overhead tail attacks. Do your best to break its stance when it attacks with its pinchers, but it'll defend itself with its beefy left pincher, so you may need to jump to its side to deal damage. Alternatively, you can break its stance by unleashing a flurry of attacks while it's blocking.

Sutaban Alpha

Cal in the Crypt of Uhrma in Jedi Survivor

Planet

Jedha

Location

Crypt of Uhrma

Reward

Gambler Perk

If you follow the mainline path from the Crypt of Uhrma Meditation Point, you'll eventually find yourself in a cave full of wind chimes. There'll be an entrance to a crypt with a secret door. You will have needed to pay attention to the landscape in order to solve the door's puzzle.

Force Pull the following pillars in the door:

  • Top row, far left
  • Bottom row, center left
  • Bottom row, center right
  • Top row, far right

Inside, you'll find a stim and Skoova Stev at a pond. You'll then need Merrin's Magicked Charm from the mainline story. If you haven't retrieved it yet, make a note and come back. Just beyond the pond, you can find a path that leads to the Sutaban Alpha's den.

Map of the Crypt of Uhrma in Jedi Survivor-1

The Sutaban fights like any other. He's quick and ruthless, but many of his attacks can be parried to break his stance. Focus on this defensive strategy to bring him down.
