The shrines in Tears of the Kingdom vary quite a lot in what they ask of you. One minute, you can be flying through a massive hall on the back of a bird-shaped tablet, the next, you're fighting robots in an arena of water and electricity.

Some of the more interesting puzzles are smaller in scope. Kisinona Shrine is confined to a single room with a single puzzle, but it can be quite a doozy - this puzzle requires you to know more than the basics of physics, and has you using fans in a way you probably haven't thought of before.

How To Complete Kisinona Shrine: Wind Power

Tears of the Kingdom - Kisinona Shrine - Two Fans and a large wheel

When you walk into Kisinona Shrine, you'll be confronted by the following objects: a large wheel in the centre of the room, six mini-windmills dotted around it, and two Zonai Fan devices on the ground.

The goal of this puzzle should become obvious quite quickly - you must make every windmill spin at the same time using the Fans and the rotation of the wheel.

To do this, you'll need to Attach the Fans to the wheel using Ultrahand. Of course, you'll need to be very precise with your Fan placement. The solution to the puzzle is to place the Fans directly opposite each other and facing the same direction in clock terms. If one Fan is blowing clockwise, the other Fan needs to be blowing clockwise.

The Fans need to be oriented in a way that also blows the wind slightly outward. Angle the Fans so that the backs of the Fans are pointing slightly toward the centre of the wheel. If the fans followed the wheel exactly, the wind would hit the windmills enough.

Once the Fans are placed correctly, hit the wheel with a weapon or an arrow to activate them. The wheel will spin, and the Fans will hopefully activate every windmill, unlocking the shrine exit.

One wall of the shrine has a small tower next to it, with a chest on top. After completing the puzzle and opening the exit, place one of the Fans on the ground facing upwards to create an updraft. Use this to reach the chest, which contains a Mighty Construct Bow.
